Join our guided tour and get set up for the week: learn the basic Chinese business etiquette, experience digital services hands on, and get to know some of Shanghai’s hotspots.

Dinner Reception at the German Consulate General

The German Consul General Peter Rothen will welcome our delegation for an exclusive dinner reception at his residence in the French Concession quarter.


Day 1 – Tuesday, October 25th 2016

Multiple inspiring sessions and discussions

Chinese digital thought leaders, market insiders, top entrepreneurs, VCs and CEOs of leading brands will provide a full view on the latest digital trends and consumer behavior. The interactive sessions will take place in inspiring locations throughout Shanghai.

Day 2 – Wednesday, October 26th 2016

Executive Tour @ Alibaba/Alipay Headquarters

We will take the Chinese ICE with over 300 km/h to China’s leading e-commerce city Hangzhou. Upon arrival, we will visit the headquarter of Alibaba / Alipay and get insights into the Alibaba universe during an exclusive top management reception.

Executive Tour @ Hangzhou’s Future Science City ‘Dream Town’ & China’s biggest social-shopping corporation

Visit Hangzhou’s next ‘Silicon Valley’ – the Future Science City ‘Dream Town’, a business incubator for Internet companies, high-tech startups and venture capital firms. After lunch, you will learn more about social commerce trends during our executive tour at Meili Inc. – China’s premier social-shopping, fashion media and e-commerce corporation.

Dinner Keynote @ West Lake Hangzhou

Participants enjoy a traditional Chinese dinner with a beautiful view of the West Lake, considered as one of the most beautiful places in the world by Marco Polo. An inspiring dinner speaker will provide food for thought and reflect key learnings from the event.


Day 3 – Thursday, October 27th 2016

Meet & Exchange with leading Chinese digital companies @ Sino-German Digital Leadership Summit

Join intimate panel discussions and take advantage of unique networking opportunities with CEOs of China’s leading digital companies during the Sino-German Digital Leadership Summit, exclusively organized for our delegation.


G20 Summit Digital Hotspots Tour & International E-Business Expo 2016 Opening Dinner

Visit innovative digital start-up facilities and incubators in Hangzhou and Xiaoshan District that are also on the agenda of the G20 Hangzhou Summit in September. In the evening, our delegation is invited to join China’s digital elite for the exclusive opening dinner of the Chinese International E-Business Expo 2016, including an announced keynote of Jack Ma (founder of Alibaba Group).
